Beeswax is the cleanest burning wax for daily use in scent warmers, small tealight holders, lanterns, or any small holder with sides to ensure a complete burn.

Local beekeepers from the Mississippi River Valley collect the wax from the beehive after extracting the honey. We clean the wax with a water and settling process. Care is taken to keep the heat low, so as to keep the wax as soft and pliable as possible.
We insert all-cotton wicking into the mold with a long copper needle and stretch the wick to the right tension. Wax is poured into the mold and added again to counteract the shrinking that happens when the wax cools.
When the candles are finished, we add wick tabs to the bottoms of the larger candles, to stabilize the wick at the end of the candle's burn. The candles are cooled and aged to help them burn slowly and evenly.
